Accelerate St. Louis Challenge

First prize ($50,000): MagBiosense, a medical device company developing a diagnostic device for heart attack, offering laboratory-quality sensitivity at the point-of-care.

Second prize ($30,000): EasyTork, a startup that manufactures quarter-turn pneumatic valve actuators and associated solenoid valves.

Third prize ($20,000): RoverTown, which has developed a platform for college students to find discounts and coupons.

Veterans Category: Scoville & Co., which makes medicine manageable by bringing hospital solutions into the home.
Female Category: Tallyfy, which makes critical business processes incredibly user-friendly and visible — in real-time with a friendly layer on top of complex tools and confusing processes.

Nitrous Effect ($2,000 in-kind services): Cast, which has developed a social platform to poll sports fans.

Monsanto ($1,250 cash award): Nitrogenics, which is incorporating a unique set of enzymes into the genome of tobacco, allowing the plants to absorb nitrogen directly from the atmosphere, rather than from fertilized soil.

Polsinelli ($2,000 legal services): Konza, which has developed analysis software for institutional investors.

BioSTL ($2,000 cash award): Pro Arc, which has developed a diagnostic tool to minimize the risk of a fatal neurological disorder in immunocompromised patients.

CreatiVenture Law $2,000 in-kind services (two awards given): Paw Friction, a startup dedicated to the betterment of the lives of pets; and EDIS Solutions, which automates manual integration processes by merging intelligence data.

Husch Blackwell ($2,500 cash award): Scoville & Co.

Lewis Rice ($2,500 cash award): Trendly, which has developed a platform to shop via photos. 

Simplify Commerce free processing on $50,000 sales: Zipline Labs, a financial technology startup that moves currency via text.

SoftLayer $120,000 in-kind services: CTY, a startup that provides analytics for places
